Can I release gods / goddesses?
I think religious idols are like confining apparatuses. At times, they can confine a god or spirit for over thousands of years. These sculptures are praised and are then presented as the re-confinement of idols themselves by museums.
Can I, in my own way, release even some part of them that are confined by these multiple layers? Release the gods / goddesses, who are also victim of abduction.
I feel there are clues on how to release them among broken idols rather than the ones which are well-preserved. I do not have the power to use the time necessary to age them. In that case, can I age them in an alternative way? I’ve devised an alternative weathering method to age the image with an aberration effect, using a camera with my own handmade lens. By photographing them in this way, I try to release these idols from the museum’s exhibition cases and rescue the gods / goddesses from the idols.
To destroy confining apparatuses is to destroy our lens.
Destroy lens like applications embedded in our brain rather than the lens of our naked eye.
Have I managed to rescue the gods / goddesses through these photographs, which themselves are another form of confining apparatus? In the end, there is nothing I can do but throw my works upon the merciful hearts of the “security guards” who come to see my work to accomplish my end.
アイドル （偶像）
神々を解き放つことは可能だろうか？
アイドル（偶像）とは、監禁拘束具だと思う。
ときに何千年もの間、監禁拘束を実現する。
そしてその実績は賞賛され、博物館による偶像自身の監禁拘束を持って遇される。
幾重にも捕われの身となった神々を、私なりの方法で、いくらかでも救出できないものだろうか？ 拉致被害者でもある神々を。
保存状態の良い偶像より、壊れつつあるものの中に救出の糸口を感じた。
完全な風化に必要な時間を呼び込む力など私にはない。
ならば、偶像たちを代わりの風化現象の中に導くことはできないだろうか？
代替案として、私は手作りレンズの収差で、イメージを光によって風化させた写真作品を通じて、偶像たちを博物館の展示ケースから解き放ち、神々を偶像から解き放とうと考えた。
監禁拘束具を壊すことは、我々のレンズを壊すことでもある。肉眼のレンズというよりも、脳内に埋め込まれてしまっている、アプリケーションのようなレンズを壊すことでもある
新たな監禁拘束行為でもある私の写真作品化行為で、果たしていくらかでも神々を解き放つことは出来たのだろうか？
それには、最終的に作品を目にする看守の皆さんの、慈悲の心にすがるよりほかは無い。

¿Puedo liberar dioses / diosas?
Creo que los ídolos religiosos son como aparatos confinantes. A veces, pueden confinar un/una dios/diosa o un/una espíritu durante miles de años. Estas esculturas son elogiadas y luego se presentan como re-confinamiento de los propios ídolos por los museos.
¿Puedo, a mi manera, liberar aun que alguna parte de ellos que están confinados por estas capas múltiples? Liverar a los / las dioses / diosas, que también son víctimas de secuestro.
Siento que hay pistas sobre cómo liberarlos entre ídolos rotos en lugar de los que están bien conservados. No tengo el poder de usar el tiempo necesario para envejecerlos. En ese caso, ¿puedo envejecerlos de una manera alternativa? He ideado un método de meteorización alternativo para envejecer la imagen con un efecto de aberración, usando cámara con mi propia lente hecho a mano. Al fotografiarlos de esta manera, trato de liberar a estos ídolos de los casos de exhibición del museo y rescatar a los /las dioses / diosas de los ídolos.
Destruir los aparatos de confinamiento es destruir nuestra lente.
Destruir la lente como aplicaciones incrustadas en nuestro cerebro en lugar de la lente de nuestro ojo desnudo.
¿He logrado rescatar a los/las dioses/diosas a través de estas fotografías, que son otra forma de confinar el aparato? Al final, nada puedo hacer sino lanzar mis obras sobre los corazones misericordiosos de los "guardias de seguridad" que vienen a ver mi trabajo para lograr mi fin.
